What types of devices do you recover data from?
We recover data from hard drives (HDDs), solid-state drives (SSDs), USB flash drives, and SD cards. Common issues include deleted files, formatted drives, or drives not detected. We do not offer RAID recovery at this time. Physical damage cases may be referred to trusted cleanroom partners.
How much does data recovery cost?
Our pricing starts at $199 for logical recoveries (e.g., deleted files, formatted drives), $399 for advanced issues (e.g., drive not detected), Expedited service (1–3 days) adds $100. Includes a free USPS Priority Mail shipping label. No data, no charge!
What is your “no data, no charge” policy?
If we cannot recover any usable data from your device, you pay nothing, excluding shipping or handling fees. Payment is only due after successful recovery, ensuring you only pay for results.
How do I send my drive to you?
After submitting our form, you’ll receive an automated email with instructions on how to safely package your data devices. Then, take your package to your local post office and mail to Vantrix IT Solutions, in care of Jonathan Motyl P.O. Box 5, White Salmon, WA 98672. Alternatively, drop off your drive at our secure box in [Drop Box Location, e.g., Dog River Coffee, Hood River]. Package your drive in bubble wrap and an anti-static bag per our packaging guide.
How do I use the secure drop box?
Our drop box at 283 Courtney Rd accepts packaged drives. No label is needed for drop-offs. If the box has a coded lock, we’ll provide the code after you sign the service agreement. Ensure your drive is securely packaged to prevent damage.
How long does data recovery take?
Standard recovery takes 7–14 days. Expedited service (1–3 days) is available for an additional $100. We’ll notify you when your drive arrives and provide progress updates.
Is my data secure?
We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data during recovery and transfer. Data is deleted from our systems 30 days after delivery, unless otherwise requested. However, we are not liable for breaches during shipping or third-party handling. See our terms for details.
What if my drive is physically damaged?
For clicking or physically damaged drives, we may attempt basic recovery or refer to a cleanroom partner (e.g., Secure Data Recovery). Referral costs are discussed upfront. We are not liable for further damage during recovery attempts. See our terms.
What are your terms and limitations?
